SERENITY WELFARE CENTRE

As per the dictates of the Mahan Sathguru Seshadri Swamigal, the Brindavanam trust has constituted the Serenity welfare centre. Serenity the welfare centre of the trust is engaged in mitigating the sufferings of the poor and needy. Welfare activities are undertaken irrespective of caste, creed or religious consideration based on the siddha doctrine of equality of mankind. The aim is to reach out to all sections of humanity to alleviate pain and want.
Some of the regular activities are as follow:
ANNADHANA SEVA
Providing nutritious and wholesome food daily for a minimum of 100 people under the Annadhana scheme
SRI SESHARAM DISPENSARY
In today's age and world medical expenses cost a fortune and so with this in mind, Serenity offers free medical assistance and aid to people in and around Madambakkam Village. Dedicated doctors look after the patients and free medicines are provided on the spot.
FREE COUNSELLING FACILITY
Students with behavioural issues and a need for career decisions are referred to the student counselling wing of Serenity.
THANEER PANDAL
During summer months parched throats can quench their thirst with buttermilk distributed by Serenity at Madambakkam
Buttermilk and annadhana are offered during temple fests notably that of Mylapore Kapali temple during Arubathumoovar festival at mylapore and Sri Dhenubureeswarar temple at Madambakkam.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR EDUCATION
Again a priority area for Serenity. Fees and educational material are being disbursed to hard working students from economically backward communities.
ALL DONATIONS ARE EXEMPTED UNDER 80G OF IT ACT
ACTIVITIES :-
- Donors can choose special Days (Birthday, Wedding day, etc) to sponsor annually or periodically - DONATION
